You have Termites Because -

You have damp wood. Maryland Termites will dry out if they are in the open air. They make the little mud tubes to cross over your cement foundation to the ground. To go from the wood over cement will dry them out so they make a little mug tube to get to the ground.

Termites have many queens and nests.
